Frequently Asked Questions
Is this tutoring?
Not quite.
This is structured math intervention using a science-based methodology. Instead of helping students get through homework, the focus is on identifying and rebuilding foundational gaps so math actually makes sense.
How long do students typically work with you?
It depends on the level of foundational gaps and the student’s goals.
Most students work together for a period of several months to rebuild core concepts and establish confidence. Some continue longer for ongoing support, but the goal is always long-term understanding — not dependency.
Do you work with students with ADHD?
Yes.
This approach is especially effective for students with ADHD because it uses structured, multi-sensory techniques designed to reduce cognitive overload and improve focus.
Do you work with dyscalculia?
Yes, in many cases.
The structured, step-by-step nature of this approach can be very helpful for students with dyscalculia. During the initial consultation, we’ll discuss your child’s specific needs to determine if it’s the right fit.
What if my child “hates math”?
That’s very common.
Many students develop negative feelings about math after repeated frustration or confusion. When concepts are finally presented in a way that makes sense, that frustration often begins to shift — along with confidence.
How many sessions are typical?
While every student is different, many families commit to a structured block of sessions (often around 15–20) to fully address foundational gaps.
Consistency is key — meaningful progress comes from steady, focused work over time.
